Just came across this one buried in my partly completed pile. Gosh, I really miss Linda Martin, who left the site four years ago after creating a marvelous body of creative puzzles for us, always LLS and fun to solve with terrific pictures. Some were standalones and others were series, and she always told terrific stories to go with them, some fictional and some from her own life. She had it all.

Do we know why she left? She doesn't have a username on these puzzles, so I think she must have contacted me and asked to be deleted. :(

Found to have a unique solution by infrapinklizzard.

Found to be solvable by line and color logic alone by infrapinklizzard.

Linda Martin is "DOGMOM" and she is still here.

Hm. Since the database was restored from PDFs that have authors' names but not usernames, the code I wrote to put the restored puzzles back into the database looked for a current user with the same full name as the puzzle's author's name, and if there was exactly one match, then the code connected the puzzle to that user. So I was guessing that this didn't get connected because there were several people named Linda Martin in the database. And, indeed, I checked the database and there are two users with the name Linda Martin, so I think that is why the username on these Snow Day puzzles is blank. Both Linda Martins entered an e-mail address when they registered, so they should be reachable. I'll try e-mailing DOGMOM to check in and see if I should reconnect these puzzles to her.

An update: The Linda Martin who is DOGMOM replied to my message. She says she is indeed named Linda Martin and a longtime puzzle-solver on this site, but she is not the same Linda Martin who created these puzzles.

I'll be curious to see if the other Linda Martin replies and if she is the author.

Oops, I had forgotten there was more than one Linda Martin.

Thanks Lollipop! I e-mailed both Linda Martins, but only heard back from DogMom, who said that she did not create this puzzle. If you are sure this puzzle was created by ilovethispuzzle123, I'll change the ownership to her.

Valerie, yes, definitely ilovethispuzzle123, along with all the other numbered Snow Day puzzles in the series. If you should happen to come across numbered series about an eye injury/hospital stay or a long train trip with views out the window across the USA, they're hers too.
