Did you know there is a "correct" way to eat a cupcake?

I have never in my long life seen anyone eat a cupcake that way, Brian. Have you? Plus it takes all the joy out of eating a cupcake.

An interesting solve--I checked my logic & hope the lack of pictures doesn't hurt things. I also feel I could've found quicker reasoning.

Edge logic after placing the reds: R4C3 being black doesn't leave enough space in column 7. That puts black dots at R4C5/6 and then edge logic makes R10 C16/17. Then R4C4 is a dot, or again C7 doesn't have space for the 2s.

Now look at C13. If the 1/2 are in rows 3 and 5-6, then C17 doesn't have the room for 2 1's. So the 2 is in rows 6-8, so C13R7 is black.

This doesn't seem to be the fastest step, but if C17R3 is black, then we get contradictions in rows 15/16.

Now just the 5 rows to the left remain. I used edge logic on the 3 in C1--having R5 black means R6C1 is black, making nowhere to place a 2 in column 4.

Line logic completes things.
