Thx Gang,yeah we lived on the other side of the city,and it was the only french catholic school in the city,and yes it is another fond memory of my childhood.:)

Thx Teresa,and thanks for the link,the clock is different from what i remember,and my depiction of it is quite different,but keep in mind,that was more than 50yrs ago that i use to wait for the bus.:)

The caption says it's been restored, and moved indoors to a new location. So it would have looked very different in its original setting. :)

I'll have to check this out,to see where they moved it.:)

Thank you Susan,i use to love watching that clock. Downtown Hamilton was a wondrous place for me when i was a kid,where the bus stops were,is called Gore Park. There is a big fountain there,a beautiful flower garden,and other cool things. You use to be able to see the clock from almost anywhere in the park. I loved hanging out downtown.:)
