thx marz,i feel for you, teenagers can be tough, maybe send him to boot camp, that apparently works for an attitude adjustment.

Haha, I have threatened him with that, but I would miss him too much, he is a great young man most of the time, he is very helpful and considerate, and good company too. He is learning to drive at the moment, I bought a car not long ago, the first I have owned, and he loves it, he has read the manual, he cleans it throughly inside and out, pays for it's petrol and is learning about the mechanics of it. He is a pretty good kid, hope he stays that way :)

Beautiful puzzle Algede, what I needed for a monday morning.
Marie-Louise, my younger son is 16 also, and as you say they think nothing will happen to them and that protection is for fools - or whatever expression they use now. I had a niece who died (at 22) for riding a bike at night with no lights. "I can see very well", she had told her father, but the problem was that someone didn't see her.

Thx Claudia,i'm so glad i could make you smile this morning.Sad story about your niece, unfortunately we all feel indestructible and we rarely consider the fact that we are at the mercy of others. When i was a kid(that's a half century ago)my mom bought me a small generator and a headlight for riding my bike at night.I thought it was so cool to put it together and then use it.

Marz, sounds like he's a great kid,no boot camp necessary, maybe show him videos of what can happen to him,or just let him know how much you love him and how it would destroy you if something ever happened to him.Marz did you buy a Shelby Cobra, lol. Is he interested in old cars?Take him to some cruise nights to see all the cool cars. You'll probably see some Cobras.Does he like the one i made for you?

Hi Claudia, that is very sad about your niece indeed. I was very shaken up about my son getting hit by the car, lucky he only got away with 3rd degree gravel rash. Teenagers hey!

Thanks Aldege, good advice.
No, damn, it's not a Shelby cobra, it's a Mazda Eunos, nice car, got it real cheap, finding lots of little probs with it, the latest being it needs a new alternator, cars!!! I never have these problems with my bikes, and they are so much cheaper to get parts for too.
He loves old cars, where we live all different car clubs come and stay, we have a few caravan parks nearby, and they do their shows in our town and the town close by, so we get to see all sorts of cars a few times a year. We love it, we can watch and hear them from our front window. The last car show we went to was American Muscle cars, there were 4 cobras there, I was in heaven!
I haven't shown him your cobra yet, I showed my daughter, and she thought it was pretty cool :)

I'm glad you and your kids dig old cars, get rid of that Mazda and get a tri-five Chevy(55,56,or 1957),or instead of fixing the alternator put a Cobra 427 or a Hemi engine in the Mazda and watch people eat your dust.lol.When you say bikes do you mean motorcycles, like a Harley?

Love the puzzle. Nice challenge and great image. It looks more like an A.J. book than a Destyny book though. :-)
#9: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz71) on Sep 19, 2011
Yes motorbikes, not a Harley, but a Hardly, haha, my bike is a Honda v-twin custom, it's a cruiser, makes a nice throaty noise, not quite as noisy as a Harley, but respectable enough, it's only a 250cc but I haven't been beaten taking off from the traffic lights by young dudes in their cars yet, lol.
I had a good laugh at your suggestion of putting a big motor in the Mazda Aldege, thanks :D

Thx Teresa. It actually is A-J's book but he gave them to Destyny,...he just doesn't know it yet lol.:)

Marie-Louise,i'm shocked, you drag race young dudes at the lights?lol.I'll drag race you with my 58 Dodge.lol.Throaty sounds from exhaust are good, you would love the sound of the glasspaks on my old Dodge. Think about that Hemi lol.

Oooooh yeah! :D Theres' nothing like the rev of a big Hemi Aldege!
