For years he used to play every now and then at Elaine's Restaurant. I don't know whether he still does. Great image, and enjoyable solve! Whatever you think of Woody, he is surely a New York icon.

First third of solving, I wondered what a blue hippo (head to the right, rear end to the left) emitting a cloud to the left had to do with NY. Next third I thought I saw a baseball bat developing to the right and thought I was going to see a Yankee. Last third I was wondering what a snake charmer had to do with NY. When solved and read the description it was obvious to me.

Really nice puzzle. Pretty much straight line solving throughout although I did take advantage of color logic to knock out the red bit.

What a fun puzzle. The head was a bit tricky, just the right amount of challenge. Really nice image.

I had a little trouble with the top row but a guess to round the right top corner led me to the solution. Nifty picture. I can just hear it now!

great puzzle! I just saw a PBS special (1/2 of one, anyway) and a big part of it was Woody & his clarinet.

I remember solving this back before I had an account. Still looks good!

Well, I got the clarinet and lips early on. However, upon solving I really thought it was a child playing a clarinet.

And in the end? Woody or child?
