Puzzle Description:

The classic "candlestick" phone. One of the earliest patents for such a phone was by Western Electric (now AT&T) in 1904.

Wow. To think that just a little bit over 100 years ago, this was the cutting edge of communications and now I am sitting here on my couch with my laptop doing puzzles online and writing messages people all over the world will see! Mindboggling. One hundred years is just a couple of generations. My grandparents were born in the 1880's. Wow!
