Before you make any changes, let Gator take a look at this, Trish. I think it is solvable using logic only, with a combination of color logic and edge logic on the red, and some extended smile logic on the top.

When I finished the puzzle and checked it, it said it was solvable by logic alone. I guess I should then try to solve them myself. Sorry guys.

Line/color logic lets you get a lot of the black and all of the blue (but no red yet). If you just focus on th red, you are left with a 4x7 area to place the clues. You can use edge logic to see that R14C8 and R14C14 are dots. I found myself having to look 3 moves ahead to finish out the red though. I agree that it is not that hard to see, but it does push our look ahead limit. If one applies symmetry, then it becomes easy (but these are not considered logically solvable).

On the black, I used edge logic in row 6 with the 4 clues to see that R6C4 and R6C17 were dots.

I also used some affirmation logic in columns 6 and 15. Looking at column 6, the remaining top 1 clue has be to at R3C6 or R4C6. In either case, R4C7 is a dot. The same logic on the right side makes R4C14 a dot.

I don't see much more to get to the solution without using symmetry.

I do think this one needs a little work to be solvable.

OK. If at first you don't succeed ... Still not sure it's solvable by logic only. I tried solving it. I had no problem. Then again, I created it. Hopefully that didn't influence me.

Found to be logically solvable by Gator.

It is solvable now. Just needs some smile logic with the red clues. Thanks for fixing it. :)

Nice

Solvability aside, she's much fairer of face now anyway.

Easy solve and a cute image/
