Ha! I read almost exclusively on an eReader these days, but I run out of shelf space anyway.

Because I still like having the "real" book version of books I like.

I love books, and I love pretty bookcases. Nice puzzle.

Nice, Heather! I too am dealing with this dilemma...I really must weed through and discard some books!

Very nice! It seems that we all have another thing in common; besides being puzzle addicts, we are bibliophiles! :)

What is it about a book, even if it wasn't very good, that you can't bear to part with it? :)

Separate from bibliophilia, but inextricably linked is bibliomania.

Bibliomania is the hoarding of books. Even ones that are not useful or even of interest to the owner. It can be a sign of OCD.

Somewhere between the two is tsundoku. It is a Japanese word meaning to acquire books and letting them pile up, but with the intention of reading them. (That "intention" is the sticky part!)

So I'm a tsundoku. I'll have to try that word out on people and impress them.
