Found to be logically solvable by Gator.#2: Gator (Gator) on May 25, 2010 [HINT]
I used quite a bit of edge logic for this one. If someone wants it, I can detail it all out.#3: Jane Doe (telly) on May 26, 2010
cute image!#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 28, 2010 [HINT]
I got stuck and tried all the edge logic I could manage. Then I checked the comments. Since Telly said it was cute, I continued to work on it. The edge logic in the middle was a little too deep for me, and I had to guess. Really nice image though.#5: Mike Kam (Zl.oft) on May 28, 2010
Thanks :) it was quite tricky to make.#6: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Jun 2, 2010
Yes it is a cute image but very tricky to solve#7: Jota (jota) on Sep 25, 2010
I had a good time and no guessing!#8: Martha Valdés (maval) on Sep 5, 2012
Good challengig puzzle and cute image. Not easy solving makes it fun.#9: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on Dec 21, 2023 [HINT]
Fun image and solve!
So, 13+ years later, we can see where the edge logic is. I maybe got lucky. I used the helper a lot.
Helper, then C1-3R1 dots by edge logic to 31%.
R34C5 is a black dot not caught by edge logic.
Bottom row to C14 is a dot. Helper to 33%. C33-35 are dots too by edge logic. 39%.
Helper also doesn't catch C5R13. Get that, 44% with helper.
If C33R12 is black, contradiction C31. 45%.
C35R29-30 being blackdots blocks out the 3 in R26.
Helper doesn't catch C29R30 as a dot. It doesn't catch C27R28 as a black dot either. Now the helper gets all the line logic.
