Nice little puzzle Joe. Whatever made you decide to draw a picture of a wave outside a porthole?#5: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on May 20, 2010

Susan, I found a picture I liked and thought it might make a good puzzle.#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 22, 2010
I am not an artist - I have no time to practice. So mostly I find photos or pictures on the internet and then I make a puzzle from them.
The greatest challenge generally is how to make a nice picture in a small space (the smaller the better in my opinion) with limited colors (and again, I prefer fewer, myself).
This one was easy to convert as it was a favicon and thus only 16x16 to start with. It made a very easy puzzle, but that's OK by me as I like the picture, and beginners need nice puzzles, too.
This is the kind of puzzle I like. I appreciate what you put into making what looks like a simple little puzzle, Joe. I so enjoy your puzzles because you really "get" what makes a good puzzle.#8: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on May 22, 2010
Thanks, Teresa. I currently have over 20 unpublished puzzles that are languishing because I have not yet found a way to make them both solvable and look good. (Although some are different versions of each other.)#9: Jane Doe (telly) on May 24, 2010

? And yet, strangely, you didn't.#15: Susan Nagy (susannagy54) on Jul 9, 2016
I like the idea of finding a picture you like and making it into a puzzle. I thought perhaps you had gone on a cruise.
