Found to be logically solvable by Gator.
#3: Gator (Gator) on Apr 13, 2010 [HINT]
I used edge logic on the 4 clue in column 29.

More likely he needs his OWN sins forgiven.

This could prove to be a challenging subject.

As for the puzzle, I thought it was lots of fun to solve.

As for the subject matter, it takes guts to bring this up. I admire people with this kind of courage.

I thought it might be, "It's not easy to confess your sins."

Or, "It's not easy being a priest these days." You must realize that most priests are good people with integrity, who must constantly be judged unfairly according to the behavior of their less than noble colleagues. There are many religious of other faiths who have also done wrong, and who have been protected by their congregation's leaders.

It's not easy to keep your faith in a world where there is so much suffering.

But I believe that, no matter how great the problem, there is always a blessing to be found therein.

that is only a puzzle. please do not take it offensively. i am not a christian nor grown in a christian society. from my point of view, a priest's job is forgiving sins and it is quite funny and interesting job for me. please do not be sceptic about the puzzle. just enjoy it

Love the green wall. "If walls had ears." :-)

"It's not easy being green." That's first thing I thought of when I saw the title.

woo I'm 2 for 2, not only did I guess a comment like #4 would emerge, but I guessed who would say it!

Well ant, glad I could make your day. But unless this turns into a big religion battle, and there's no reason it needs to, that was my first and last post of that type. The comment focused solely on the subject depicted in the picture. It's no secret that priests have been in the news a lot lately, and not for very good reasons.

My feelings about religion are well known (and if they aren't, then read 3408), but my comment was NOT in any way intended as a criticism of any aspect of religion or religious people. I see no reason to use a puzzle as an excuse to start a war. With any luck, if one was about to erupt, I've nipped it in the bud.

sanane,
I enjoyed the puzzle and even found the eye and nose more challenging than I expected.
