Eggplant, of course! Here is what I learned on wikipedia:

The eggplant fruit is botanically classified as a berry, and contains numerous small, soft seeds, which are edible, but are bitter because they contain (an insignificant amount of) nicotinoid alkaloids, unsurprising as it is a close relative of tobacco.

Had no idea eggplant was considered a fruit. Learned something today!

LOL! Who knew the eggplant was a berry? OR that it was related to the tobacco plant? That's just amazing. And yes, this one was more time-consuming than some in this series but worth the wait as always.
