I've had this puzzle sitting around half drawn for months, but I was never really happy with it. I needed to create a new puzzle to test that the checking code was working right, so I dug this guy out and worked him over once more. I've been doing puzzles like these for over 5 years, since I first discovered them in Games magazine, and I've probably solved over 1,000 of them altogether. Is there such thing? Maybe under a different name?
We call that picture logic. It gets the puzzle solved, but it doesn't use "real" logic. I have mentioned things like "the shoulders attach to the arms" logic, and other tongue-in-cheek examples of picture logic, but it's still a guess, because you can't know if the author of the puzzle made the same connections as you.
