Making the little guy green was a nice touch, to make it stand out from all the other space invaders. I guess it's natural to want to create a pixel character from your childhood. I wanted to make Pitfall Harry when I first joined, but I never got around to it. The younger members (this is just a guess, but I bet Nintendo was *their* first platform) gravitate toward Mario.
