Well, that was an unusual puzzle. I doubt if the image is original with Mad Magazine though.

this one is even better in two shade of one colour but a great puzzle on a classic illusion

This is an old, old illusion. It was probably public domain in Pythagorus' time. What is especially great is how a puzzle with so much white is easily solvable. I've seen many puzzles with much less white that aren't as logical.

Yeah, it's definitely older than Mad Magazine. I doubt even Escher came up with it.

That was much more interesting than I thought it would be based on the clues!

I've definitely seen Escher interpretations of this. Don't know if it's original to him, however. As far as solving goes, thank goodness for the "H" & "V" keys.

To be properly faithful to Mad Magazine, it should have been titled "Potrzebie". :)

or the title could have been "poiuyt", which was the name Mad Magazine used for this thing.
