MFRAMADAN means "wind-resistant house" a symbol of fortitude and readiness to face life's vicissitudes.

The Adinkra Dictionary says this symbol represents a well-built home designed to withstand unfavorable weather conditions. For instance, a mud house would be reinforced with turf. Doesn't that help you feel appreciation for your own home? Can you imagine living in a house made of mud? Can you imagine not having any home at all, like those in Haiti after the earthquake?
