Puzzle Description:
Natural solar power at work. The roses are still blooming here in Tucson. The beautiful winters make up for the hellacious summers.

Your new (old)word for the day: Apricity, which means the warm of the summer sun. It is an archaic word, but an interesting one nonetheless.#2: Fran (rmm) on Jan 7, 2010
Arizona has more sunny days than any other state in the U.S.
Series is not very fun :D#3: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Jan 7, 2010
I liked this one. Very fun color logic at the end, with the reds and greens.#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 8, 2010
Thanks, Adam.#5: Sallie Wilbur (sarriemom) on Jan 8, 2010 [SPOILER]
What a lovely puzzle, Teresa! The flowers were a nice challenge. I personally am enjoying this series -- I'm enjoying learning more about solar power, and you've done a nice mix of more and less challenging puzzles.#6: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 8, 2010
Thanks, Sallie. I'm glad you like them. I have a few more, then I'll have to think of something else. :-)#7: Jane Doe (telly) on Jan 8, 2010
great image. Use 'apricity' in a sentence please. :)#8: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 9, 2010
keep up the series, I like it
Thanks, Telly.#9: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Jan 12, 2010
I made a mistake in the definition in the first comment. Apricity means the warmth of the sun in winter.
Having lived in Wisconsin for many years, I don't ever remember any warmth at all during the winter. Brrrr - makes me shiver just to think about it. But here in Arizona, I can appreciate the apricity of the southwest climate during this time of year. :-)
I agree. This is not a fun series. However, this particular puzzle is quite nice and the touch of color is just right.#10: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 12, 2010
Thanks, BlackCat.#11: Diana W (aeris) on Apr 20, 2011 [SPOILER]
This is my favorite one in this series. :)#12: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Jun 16, 2011
