Please include some white space in your puzzles.

That's funny...so did I!

Making an actual good puzzle would relieve your boredom for a much longer period of time, and would do the same for us.

WOT

wow people are really assholes on here...well i enjoy puzzles like this when I don't feel like putting lots of effort into solving puzzles..people really need to lighten up on here and stop telling people the stuff they took the time to make is a waste of time

LOL! I am just happy she spelled it "bored" instead of "bord."

Well, many of us come to this site to solve paint-by-number/nonogram/griddler puzzles. Creations like this are NOT puzzles. They are merely an exercise in coloring. I don't come here to color, I come here to use logic and deductive reasoning to solve a puzzle. Perhaps, one day, non-puzzles like this will be labeled as "no white space" or something so that they can be easily avoided.

In my opinion, "creations" like this should simply be unpublished. But that's just me. :-)

Thank you, and have a swell day.

I should clarify that the "rules" in the quote above are not any sort of official rules of the website. That's taken from a discussion about rude comments, and that was my advice to someone who was afraid to try creating a puzzle because they were worried about rude comments. Violating those "rules" is not against the rules, and does not automatically justify rude comments.

If you are bored, there are lots of puzzles to solve, Catherine. If you use the cool tools Jan has programmed for us, you can do a search for all the good ones with a click of the mouse. I just did a search of all the puzzles with a quality rating of 3 or higher, and a difficulty rating of 3 or less, and came up with over 2,000 fun puzzles that have unique solutions with no guessing required. I'm willing to bet that all of them have white space and none of them have "WOT" in the comments.

Since you have only solved 50, you have a few more to go before you can legitimately say you're bored.

There's also some really interesting topics in the forum.

Geez, it was just an example of what I thought was excellent advice on how to create puzzles! But fine, I removed the quote. Is that better? :-)

If your bored I have some dishes or other chores that need doing. (that's what my mother would tell us when we were bored).

Very colored fun :D

I'm totally disappointed. I was expecting another heart. Now I'm board, er, borred, er, ... well ... you know.

One or the other of the colors in this puzzle could easily have been left out and raised the degree of difficulty ... slightly. Currently, it's an excercise in figuring out which of my mouse buttons to click.

Not that it matters, but I agree with jeterfan105. Although I don't use some of her language. It's relatively easy to tell a puzzle is going to be super simple before you solve it, so if you don't like easy puzzles, just don't do them--that's my advice. I also always wonder how old the creator is and if it is a first puzzle.

Hi Hannah. The goal for some of us is to do every puzzle. When I first started out I picked easy ones but now I'm just doing them in order. Doing *every puzzle means you also end up doing the easy ones as well.

But you raise a valid point. Perhaps, instead of leaving a negative comment it would be nicer just to say, "This was an easy one."

On the other hand, this speaks to the whole idea of internet trolls. There's alot of people on the internet who feel the anonymity gives them the courage to say things they would never say to your face. Perhaps they're just venting in a way they couldn't otherwise. Maybe better to let them relieve their frustrations here in a negative comment then have them out killing puppies.

Also, some people like me use the random puzzle feature and are hit with something that is not a puzzle...randomly
