Very nice. To clarify, it is the alternating smile logic. When looking at columns 1 and 3 (since 2 is already filled), you have to fill in a cell on either side of column 2 the whole way down (40 cells plus 2 more for rows 2 and 39). The 2 clues in columns 1 and 3 add up to 42.
