I kept expecting mistletoe! The border and all the red and green just seem Christmassy to me, and the final image even resembles it. Was that intentional? Aside from that, very nice image, and I had fun with the color logic.

wonderful! even the border comes in pairs. or is the border made of pear peels? which would happen when one pares pairs of pears.
