Puzzle Description:

None and Nun. This is Sister Mary Joseph and that is the big fat Zero she gave me for a daily grade because I forgot to turn in my homework.

Seriously, I never got a 0 or an F. I was always teacher's pet, even in college. :-)

I tried to make her face with a mean sneer, but it wouldn't solve. I could only make it solvable with a sweet face. So, instead of mean Sister Mary Joseph, she looks more like all the nice, maternal, nurturing nuns for whom I have warm memories.

I did get smacked across the knees with a yardstick in first grade. Luckily that didn't squash my love of learning. Any other recovering Catholics out there?

I think this was very nicely done. Great job on the nun.

I went to Catholic school too but I didn't have any nuns as teachers.

Another excellent painting. Yep, I'm a recovering Catholic too. I went to an all girls school run by nuns. Most of them were nice women!

Thanks, Adam.

Jen,you must be very young. Way back when I went to school, there was only one lay teacher, a little older woman who wore fancy earrings, different ones every day. She would shake her head at us and her earrings would go flipping around. LOL

Thanks, Jewel. My favorite nun was a romantic - she read Greek mythology to us. Later she gave up her habit and married a priest. I told you she was romantic. :-)

I wouldn't say very young, but it wasn't that long ago that I graduated from that school.

I would say this puzzle is second to nun. I had a good time solving it!
