To me, best image so far on this series (I don't do them in order). Thanks.

Thanks, Jota and Ant. I'm rather pleased with this one myself. :-)

Yikes, after reading the first 3 comments, maybe I won't say what I was going to say. Thanks for the puzzle.

Oh go ahead, Adam. If it's critical, you know I can take it. :-)

LOL. I was just going to say something seems off. The man appears a bit awkward-looking. His back might be too rounded. The left arm line looks like it might need to continue a little higher (or maybe more diagonally higher). His head seems too far forward and low for the height of his rounded back. The overalls in the front (between arms) should probably only be 1 column thick.

Maybe it's none of those things. Maybe it's all of them. But because so many liked this one a lot, apparently, I didn't say anything. I AM trying to be nicer, you know, with the Christmas season and all... :-)

You are oozing sweetness lately, Adam. :-)

I used a photograph as a model, and the man was a bit thick in the middle.

Thanks, BlackCat.

The rainbow is out, so it must have just rained. Yet he's chopping wood. Unless they were covered up, that wood should be wet and tough to chop.

It's raining east of him, so his wood is still dry. But the storm is coming his way, so that's why he is out there chopping away. :-)

this is probably my favorite in this series so far. your hewer reminds me of the central figure in the painting, "the shoemaker", by jacob lawrence. i love the way you drew him - very expressive.
