Puzzle Description:

Chord and cord. You recognized the musical notes in the C major chord, but could you tell that was a cord of wood? Living in a hot desert, I never see cords of wood. I'm just going by memory here. C? C!

Nice idea. I did not see the wood, I thought is was a glove. When you said chord and cord I immediately thought of a skein of heavy thread.

Thanks, BlackCat. I tried making a rope cord, but I couldn't make it both solvable and recognizable, and it was not very interesting. So many possibilities. I could have drawn a Honda instead of the wood, then it would have been an Accord and a chord. :-)

Don't forget the segment made by connecting any 2 points on a circle. (The diameter being the longest of the "cords".)

Scale and scale may have worked better. Then you could do one of those cool old fashioned justice is blind scales.

Good idea. Maybe I will do that one too. I'm going through the alphabet, so that will be a clue for those who are working these in order.

I thought "note(s)" for this one. Chord works too. :-)
I like these.

I was thinking it was going to be "staff"! Had fun with it! Thanks.

I thought notes too. I sort of saw a pile of sticky notes where the wood is.
