that was a fun one! I got stuck the same part as #3 but the hint in #4 definitely helps.#6: Matt Coulter (mcoulter) on Oct 30, 2009
I had to look at the hints to finish this one, too - I got stuck at exactly the same part and the hint was perfect. Once past that hurdle, the rest completed very nicely!#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 1, 2009
Ah, that was fun! Thanks for the hint, Gator. Very clever title.#8: Gator (Gator) on Nov 9, 2009

A little info. One of the Kellogg plants is in London, Ontario. Has been there for generations. It was recently announced that the plant will be closed. A lot of employees who have been there for a long time will be rendered jobless. Meanwhile, another plant is being expanded in another city, and it seems they can pay less to these employees because they are not in a union. Corporate greed continues in today's economy.#12: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Jan 1, 2014 [SPOILER]
Very sad. I didn't know there were Kellogg plants outside of Battle Creek, MI, but it stands to reason. It's a very popular brand of cereal.#13: Bryan (Cyclone) on Jan 4, 2014 [SPOILER]
(I will keep mum on my opinion of modern-day unions)
There still are. There's one in Belleville that they are expanding (which is NOT under a union, go figure), and they're also looking to expand an overseas location with the saved money. I think they're planning to move all production overseas eventually. Just a guess.
