Puzzle Description:

Elopement by the Sea. The title is a Spoonerism for "Lonely No More." I was going to make a triple Spoonerism of "Two Birds have Flown" but I didn't think it would be appropriate.

Is that building the house they are sneaking out of (based on the ladder)? It looks like the church they will be married in based on what appears to be a cross in the window.

The story doesn't make much sense to me but it was a fun solve.

Thanks, blackCat.

Adam, I have to agree with you that it looks more like a church. It's supposed to be a house by the sea. And the couple has already eloped and left the ladder propped against the wall. The window pane does look like a cross. Perhaps the Bride has escaped just before the wedding? Maybe I should change the title to "Brunnaway Ride."

I thought it was the story of Rapunzel ...

Without the title, I would've thought I was getting ready to put hay up in the loft of my old barn.

Interesting to solve.

Thanks, Martin. It does look like a barn, doesn't it? I couldn't make a window behind the ladder, it just wouldn't work for me.

I think it looks like a barn too, and I can't make out the whole picture, but it helps if I close one eye and tilt my head and squint. :) Nice puzzle.
