Puzzle Description:

Just a design that came out of fooling about with the puzzle creator for a bit. I thought it looked a bit like a brooch my grandmother would have had in her collection from her younger years.

Takes a bit to get through it, but the color logic all works out.

Pretty design, good amount of white space, and very tricky color logic.

Nice puzzle: Lots of color logic, and it's a nice image.
I'm not sure why some people avoid puzzles with more than one color. Color makes things more interesting, and (as is the case with this puzzle) it also can add another degree of difficulty (or another style of logic, at least).

While the puzzle is symmetrical, It only lends to helping in solve the whole puzzle faster - you can solve the puzzle without relying on that assumption (and actually, assuming the puzzle is symmetrical probably wouldn't get you very far since as I was solving it the middle row and column solved pretty quickly and did a pretty good job of segregating the rest of the clues into the 4 quarters).

Good job on a well-made puzzle.

Very beautiful design, and quite a challenge. It really does look like a piece of vintage jewelry. Good job!

Thanks all! :)

I'm going to see about doing some more detailed/realistic images soon.

Wow! At first, I hated this puzzle. Figured there was no logical way to solve but guessing. I decided to see if I could complete it deterministically and I could. It was a joy! I encourage you: DON'T GUESS, work it out!

Some of you who've commented on this puzzle are my favorite puzzle-makers, and I'm very pleased and encouraged by your responses!

Never tried this. Puzzles that are mostly single dots are quite tedious to me.
