I'm am not sure were "looking ahead" ended and guessing began but I used a lot of both. However, I have to say that once I saw how much of the blue was surrounded by green it became closer to looking ahead. I really like those 2 colors together and I love the little flower even though that was one of the tougher parts. For a "first" puzzle it was pretty darn good.
