LOL! I understand your Mom's plight! Why is it that people tend to fixate on a particular impression of a person when they give gifts? A have a few cats, so people buy me 'cat' things all the time, as if that were my obsession! Instead of personalizing a gift, I think they actually generalize it, because that's just easier. Fun puzzle - quick solve! Thanks, Teresa!#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Sep 27, 2009
Thansk, Tonia. Everybody gives me things with butterflies, because that's the symbol of FASD Awareness. It's a good thing I like butterflies! :-)#8: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Sep 27, 2009

nice puzzle. fun and not too simple.#14: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 12, 2010
as someone who has no middle name, I've never run into that problem...but it might have been good to have options. ;)
Thanks, Telly.#15: m2 (mercymercy) on Sep 6, 2010
I also go by my middle name or actually a shortened version of it. My father intended my middle name to be my first but my father refused. This lead to my having a first name and two middle names and now I love confusing people.#16: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on May 24, 2011
cute! i always wished i had an unusual name because EVERYONE was named linda in the 60's! my middle name's denise - don't know why i never went with that...#17: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on May 2, 2019
My grandma's name was Rose and she embraced it with rose colored clothing and rose perfume.#18: Scott (McEncheese) on Dec 4, 2022

Nice puzzle. Enjoyed it.
When I was younger I used to get mini pianos in different forms for Christmas. People would visit and see them and comment on my collection. I would correct them immediately. No, my family collects pianos for me. I don't collect them at all. When I moved away I tossed 95 percent of them.
