Puzzle Description:

This is the view from the desk where Linda Ronstadt is distracted from her work as she sings a duet with James Ingram in the music video "Somewhere Out There" - one of my favorite songs, and the theme song for the animated movie American Tail.

When I made this puzzle, I did it from memory. Then I found the video that shows the room as it should be:

I did this from memory. I just remember the French doors, a lamp, and a sofa, and maybe bookshelves. Then I found the video. It's close enough I think:

Nice work! Although, I admit the entire right half of the puzzle (which I solved last) I just saw the pattern and filled the rest in without looking at the clues.

My puzzle #3590, with the same title as this week's theme, would fit right in. Great movie, too.

Thanks, Adam. It was impossible to make the French doors any more interesting than that. I tried a few different ways, and went with this one, knowing that part of the puzzle would be a bit boring.

I'm going to check your puzzle. I bet I know what it is. I didn't solve that one because it was too big. So I'll peek. :-)

Thanks for your entry! I love the couch!
#6: Teresa K (fasstar) on Sep 16, 2009 [SPOILER]
Thanks, Jota. That couch has some comfy pillows, just begging for some cuddling.

If any of you out there are blessed with someone to cuddle with, go give your someone a squeeze. :-)

I started with the right. Thinking, geez, this is a bit regular, too easy... Then I did the left and stepped back and thought, WOW, there are some really creative and talented people out there. Then, I read your description and thought, WOW, I would have never thought!

Cool puzzle! really fun to solve.
