LOL. Love your parody. At least your title was spelled correctly.

ditto #1 :) fun

The results APPEAR to be random? I never thought about it before. Now I had to go look it up, and I learned about two factors - gravity and dealer control. Now I know why all bets must be placed BEFORE the dealer drops the ball. It's not random at all. :-O

Yep. I learned that the hard way. :-)

Well, of all the images related to "randomness" that I could come up with, a roulette wheel seemed like it would make the best puzzle.

Adam + Teresa, I've never been to a casino! I would surely lose money left and right from sheer naivete. On the other hand, (I hope) I would be wise enough to walk in with NO money, plastic, etc. except a limited amount of cash to blow.

#3 - That's not been my experience. The dealer will often spin the ball before calling no more bets. It seems to me that he (or she) calls no more bets when the ball slows down enough that the ball dropping into a slot will be imminent.

There was actually a person who capitolized on wheels that were weighted improperly (it's fairly difficult to make sure the weight is perfect). He would watch the wheels and record numbers and on some wheels it would be discovered that certain numbers showed up more often than others. He made quite a bit until the Casino discovered what was going on.
