Hard to make out the image at first. I see it now: the dark area in the lower left is the shadow under his neck. The dark areas on the top left and on the right outline his white head.

Yes, that's right. His head is turned. I tried to create it so that the image would not be so obvious, but I guess I tried too hard. :-)

I kept seeing a person, facing to the right, playing a sax or a didgeridoo (in black, with white background). See it? Cool horse.

The way you describe it, Adam, I can see it. Looks like something out of Star Wars. What was the name of that club with the crazy-looking musicians?

I am sure some Star Wars fanatic will answer that question soon... I can't remember, but I know to what you are referring.

Is the horse still adoptable?

Sundance has been adopted. Now there are some "new" horses that were rescued and are being nursed and nurtured until they are ready to be adopted.
