Puzzle Description:

My son doesn't keep track of his shoes... and begged me to be allowed to play outside wearing the above: a lime-green Croc, and a black dress shoe with a red sock. And shorts. Of course.

lol!!! Did you let him go? How old is he?

He's 5. I wouldn't let him go out with odd shoes. In his zeal to find a matched pair, he actually found a tennis shoe that was missing for several *months*, so it was win-win: he got to go out, and I got out of buying a new pair of tennis shoes for school!

Hilarious and so true! Thanks Robyn.

So funny. My son is 20 and still can't keep up with his shoes. He does go out with matching shoes but not so much matching socks. Just thankful I don't have to look at his socks.

LOL. My daughter did go to elementary school a few times with 2 different shoes on! As long as they were the same type & therfore around the same height she was good to go. I loved her individual "style".:)

A few weeks ago I slipped on my sandals and headed to the mall. After shopping for an hour or so, I tried on some shoes. (They didn't fit.) When I looked at my own shoes on the floor beside me, I saw that they weren't a match! I was mortified! I couldn't find another pair to wear out of the mall, so I put on my invisibility cloak, tried to act casual, and headed for the car, way on the other side of the mall. PS: They weren't as mis-matched as the pair in this pbn!

So funny.. and a great puzzle. I have a daughter that will wear dress shoes with EVERYTHING, another that will wear sneakers with dresses, and my boys both will wear mismatched socks daily. Gotta love the silly things kids do.
