You will need edge logic on the top row to get started. When you get to a place where you seem stuck, take a look at the 3s in Columns 13 and 15. Think "either or" in relation to Row 9, and that will get you going again.

Veeeeeerrry tricky! But I got it in the end.

This was amazing. Here is what I did. I started with edge logic on the top row, since that was the easiest place to start, but I didn't get far. Look at row 2. There is one other "2" in that row (one of them gets placed at the very beginning). Now look at C's 2-11. They all have at least a quantity of 3, which extends to (at least) R's 3/4 (which are all 1's). The other "2" in R2 can never go in any of those C's, which allows you to easily place it at the farthest right 2 squares. You can go by line logic for a while, but then still have to use Teresa's hint about the 3 in R 9 and C's 13/15, which lets you solve the rest. Great job.

You think of the most unusual but still everyday things to make a puzzle from. This was very trick. I just took a hit or miss on the upper right and my guess was a hit. he looks hungry...or may be it is me who is hungry!

Thanks, Jota. You are much better at these small B&W ones than I am. I sure could use a little Jota puzzle this weekend (hint, hint). :-)
