Damn Gittie, you made 6 puzzles today! At this rate the data base is going to hit exponential growth. You working poor Jan to death.#2: Jan Wolter (jan) on Dec 2, 2006
I do try to solve all the puzzles manually fairly soon after they are posted, but I don't really have to. The main thing I do is rule on the multiple solutions question, and it doesn't actually matter if that waits a while. I could also check it pretty quickly using the helper if I wanted to.#3: Jan Wolter (jan) on Dec 2, 2006
I'm happy to see the puzzles posted here, and am very impressed at how quickly Gitte is able to produce good puzzles.
Though it certainly does present quite a challenge for those of us who like to solve all the puzzles.
And she not only posted six puzzles in one day, she posted six puzzles in about four hours. Very impressive.#4: Gitte Olesen (granny40) on Dec 2, 2006
LOL... I have been working on them in MS Publisher, before adding them in here.#5: Deana L (ffswife) on Dec 21, 2007
So actually I have been working on some of them for quite a while.. doing size reduction, added a grid, making changes... some more than others of course.
Glad You like my puzzles :-))
A little over a year late, but...#6: Gitte Olesen (granny40) on Dec 22, 2007
I use publisher at work for newsletters... How do you use Publisher for puzzle making?
I have a "Print Screen" of a grid. Make the white transparent and then I can put a pic beneath the grid, and resize it to the right size.#7: Deana L (ffswife) on Dec 22, 2007
The grid is exactly the size of the grid of my screen when printed, so I can print it on transparency and put it on my screen, and now create the puzzle.
I don't always do it like that. Only with the ones who are very detailed. ;o)
hmm... have to remember that! Thanks!#8: Bionerd (nieboo) on Jan 23, 2008 [SPOILER]
