the changes were because the entire thing didn't match my design.

for those of you who still don't know, its the Twelve Days of Christmas, and the entire list goes: 12 drummers drumming, 11 pipers piping, 10 lords a-leaping, 9 ladies dancing, 8 maids a-milking, 7 swans a-swimming, 6 geese a-laying, 5 golden rings, 4 calling birds, 3 french hens, 2 turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Yes, I know not all of the images work well, but the page I was using to design the paint-by-number didn't have small enough squares to design the whole thing, and the "gold ring" and "piper's pipe" would still not be great even at 100x100 (ring because of lack of yellow).

Well, it looked like a quilt to me, and I was wondering if the designs in the squares were supposed to be images. After I read the description, then I could pick out most of the images. LOL at "maids a milking." This was a fun solve.

Just curious, what page did you use to design this?

I was happy to see your name again, Ian- are you on school break? Will you do more puzzles for us? I liked this very much; even out of season!
