Fun puzzle! Once I started to do the blue I thought that it would be the GA flag lol.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree on the "not hate" bit. I'm sure the puzzle designer does believe/feel that so this really isn't meant to be a personal attack at all.

It just seems to me that that is like saying the Nazi symbol is really a good luck symbol (which is what it was once upon a time) and ignoring all the horrible things with which it is associated.

Again, not saying anything against the designer. And I'm sure there are a lot of other folks who also use the "heritage, not hate" idea and mean it. But there are a LOT of other people who fully back the "hate", and I don't think the "hate" can really be removed from that symbol just by saying it is heritage.

Symbols bear only the meaning which we give them. Many symbols (as well as words) have had their connotations completely changed. If we choose to allow symbols to move from positive to negative but not from negative to positive then we allow the negative to grow. What if the hate is based on ignorance (it usually is)?

Rather than pointing out that some people connect this symbol with hate, I would like to ask Luke, What does this flag mean to you in terms of heritage?
