To be honest, I was just disappointed that his sudoku wasn't logically solvable. I love sudokus, and I was actually hoping to first solve his webpbn puzzle and then solve his sudoku.

When that turned out to be impossible, I decided to make him one of my own instead. Also, about it being smaller - I really appreciate the problems Ian was having with that! It's difficult to make small numbers. I ended up using his number design (very nice clear numbers!) and just eliminated the white space around them.

There's also a picture inside the sudoku, but it's not too easy to see. ;-)

Hidden picture is Not hard to see at all.
a very nice touch

I thought Ian's was logically solvable. but of course, once i'd figured out the number pattern he'd used i just solved as quickly as possible. It seemed to work logically also.

your design had me using clues only...which i prefer

my next challenge is to solve ...fill it in...but i do these all the time so it shouldn't take long.

thanks for the puzzle with in a puzzle and the hidden picture too!
