The United States Institute of Peace is an independent, nonpartisan institution established and funded by Congress. Its goals are to help prevent and resolve violent international conflicts, promote post-conflict stability and development, and increase conflict management capacity, tools, and intellectual capital worldwide. The Institute does this by empowering others with knowledge, skills, and resources, as well as by directly engaging in peacebuilding efforts around the globe.

Outstanding logo. I gave it a "5." Thanks for continuing my series (hint hint). It was challenging, too, which made it even better.

Thanks, Adam. I was looking for something else when I saw this one, and it just begged to be made into a puzzle. :-)

Very nice! I'd never seen this logo before.

Thanks, Meg. I had not seen this before, and had not even heard of this organization before. It's funded by Congress, which means it's paid for by U.S. tax dollars. Hope it's effective. I see they have a new conflict management education and training program that addresses post-conflict strategies and peace building.
