Puzzle Description:

Gossip. Jota is talking to Silvain about Meg's new "toy" puzzle, and Silvain raises an eyebrow but smiles just the same. But I guess it's not really gossip since everyone knows. :-)

Lol! :-D

:D Great puzzle!
Not sure if it was strictly required, but I used some edge logic, and then alternating smile logic at the end to finish this one.

Yes, "Sylvain's" smile at the very end needed a touch of smile logic, (or edge logic on the second 3 in R 14) but rest was simply solvable by line logic. Very fun puzzle to solve.

Yes, Gator. I didn't want to make it TOO easy. :-) Glad you liked it. Meg, I'm glad you're laughing. If you have the courage/confidence to do the "toy" puzzles AND a self-portrait, then I know you can take the teasing.

No "thanks, Adam" LOL?
#6: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 21, 2009
Thanks, Adam. LOL I guess you were writing that comment while I was reading the previous one and responding to that one. No offense intended. But you probably figured that out for yourself? :-)
#7: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on May 21, 2009 [SPOILER]
I don't look like that at all.... :-)

What a great puzzle! I love the faces. It took some patience and no guessing. Quite fun.
#9: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 22, 2009
Thanks.

Teresa, I was thrilled when I saw the solution! Solving this puzzle was like opening a present and finding out it's twice as good as I expected. Thanks!
#11: Jane Doe (telly) on May 22, 2009
I agree. No guessing. fun, tricky puzzle. ;)
#12: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 22, 2009
Thanks, Meg and Telly.
#13: Jota (jota) on May 23, 2009 [SPOILER]
The truth is that the first time "we" discussed Meg's puzzles Sylvain looked happier than this and my cheeks were totally red. The second time it was different and by now ... :-)))
#14: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on May 23, 2009
So, Jota... just how often do you discuss these sorts of things??? :-)
#15: Jota (jota) on May 23, 2009
At least once a day, I'm still very young :-))

Found to be logically solvable by jan.

too cute!
#18: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Sep 14, 2012 [HINT]
line logic alone gets you down to 12 empty spaces. alternating smile logic, as gator suggests, would work. what i did instead was two-way logic:

whether C20R12 or C20R14 is black, C18R12 is a dot. line logic the rest.

fun solve.
