Kokopelli plays his flute to bring plentiful crops and healthy babies!

The triple swirl represents homecoming, from different directions toward the center.

The thunder storm is seen in the design with the three triangles with the lightning bolt jutting out and down.

The design with the three diagonal squares represents good prospects.

I'm sorry this is the end of the series! I've really enjoyed solving your puzzles, and you've really got me wondering now about all the designs around me that I've always assumed were just decorative. Thanks!

this has been fun and informative. You didn't explain the meaning of the thunder storm...?
#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 28, 2009 [SPOILER]
I did not see an explanation of the meaning of the thunder storm image. After a bit of research I did find this quote from Black Elk, an elder of the Oglala Nation:

"When a vision comes from the thunder beings of the West, it comes with terror like a thunder storm; but when the storm of vision has passed, the world is greener and happier; for wherever the truth of vision comes upon the world, it is like a rain. The world, you see, is happier after the terror of the storm."
