Puzzle Description:

Snake, Warding Arrows, Lasso Rope, Sky Band. These symbols are explained in the comments.

The snake represents defiance.

Warding arrows are supposed to ward off evil.

The rope design represents the lasso, a symbol of captivity.

The sky band looks like sunglasses, but really is a design that designates the way to happiness.

Actually, I thought the sky band looked like the Lone Ranger's mask. ;-) What is a "sky band", anyway? Does it have a story?

From what I have read, the sky band is the path that the sun, moon, and planets travel. I think it is used as a border design, but was depicted with just the two connected shapes, that do indeed look like the Lone Ranger's mask. I thought the same thing, Meg. LOL This is another one I will have to ask my Navajo friend about.

this is wonderful. loved the solve. the sky band is intriguing. snake was very well done. i'm really enjoying this series.
