Puzzle Description:

This is a picture of my mother's driver/bodyguard petting her cat. Explanation in the comments...

My mother is presently working in Pakistan. One of the compound guards gave her a feral kitten last year, and ever since then her driver/bodyguard has been working hard to convince the cat he's a nice guy.

Not too many people own cats in Pakistan, and if they do they're usually pedigreed cats. Very few people adopt them off the street. One feral cat broke into my mother's office a few months ago, and had to be put down as it was viciously attacking everyone. Sadly, it probably had rabies.

Hmm.

Very difficult to tame a grown feral cat. Very nice image.

Thanks, Mary! I think it's only because my mother got her cat when he was still a kitten that she's been able to do anything with him. He won't sit in anyone's lap, won't let most people touch him (except my mom and now her driver), and he occasionally disappears up the chimney. Fortunately, he always comes back!

Poor thing, so frightened. I read a story about a black puppy that crawled into a banked fire in a fireplace. When the homeowners got up the next morning, the first thing they did was fuel the fire which scared the pup which scared the people when he jumped out :)

Poor puppy! Luckily it's so warm in Pakistan I don't think there's any chance my mother will ever use her fireplace! She still can't believe what they call "winter" - it's the same temperature as our summer.

Her "Billi" (apparently that's Urdu for "cat") comes and goes whenever he likes, and he often sits near her and watches when she's working on the computer. He appreciates both his cat box and his food bowl (especially the food bowl).

Very intricate puzzle. Challenging, but I liked it a lot. I usually have trouble with bigger color ones, but because you created it, I gave it a try, and I'm glad I did. Very nice image. And I like everyone's stories too. :-)

Puzzles are perfect, but I can not imagine how anyone can love cats. I had a few of them. They were all so visious and evil. Now I have my second dog (first one I've had for 17 years, and now i bought another one 'coz the first one unfortunatlly died). Dogs are relly the peopls best friends - if you treat them right, of course. But cats are only for sick and evil people like the cats are - that is the human nature; you love something wich is similar to you. Good people likes dogs, bad people likes cats, simple as that. But I like your puzzles, quiet a lot. hello from sudern europa

What part of Europe?

Hello, Eneida! I like cats and dogs (and kids), and I've got several of them. You can see a picture of my little black dog in puzzle 2575.

Cats are individuals. Some are very loving, some aren't, and a lot of that has to do with how well they are treated (just like people).

I'm glad you like my puzzles! :-)

A beautiful artistic picture! I love it when I do a puzzle and think, "Now that was worth doing!"
