There's an interesting discussion of the origin of the phrase over at www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/raining%20cats%20and%20dogs.html

I would never have looked it up if you hadn't made this puzzle. Thanks! :-)

Definitely a 1-star quality.

LOL! Black cat said "OK" and you thank him/her. You are really funny, but unfortunately a poor puzzle creator.

Adam, at least my puzzles are original and I'm trying to learn to make better puzzles.

So, when you give me 1 star, does that mean the puzzle is really 5 stars? You do have a reputation for rating all the best puzzles with 1 star. Multiple times.

*giggles*

Sure. Go ahead and think whatever you want. If you want to think it's a 5-star quality, go ahead. All I can say is look at the rating it actually has. Under 3. Closer to my rating of "1" than a "5" that you might believe it to be. :-)

No worries, Adam. I think its cute. Its rated close to average and average is good. Especially considering the high quality of some of the puzzles at webpbn.
