Thanks, Meg. I had only seen photos of the Taj Majal from the outside, so when I saw this photo, I thought this indoor scene would be nice for a puzzle.

Nice puzzle Teresa! I have been to the Taj a few times now. It is truly a beautiful thing. Your image is actually of the main gateway to the Taj from the outside. If you were to walk through that doorway in the middle, you would see the Taj itself across the gardens. Standing in that doorway would get you this view:

It is actually forbidden to take pictures inside the Taj itself. I wish we could though, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Actually let me clarify...your pic is from inside the fore-gardens but not yet inside the Taj main grounds.
