Puzzle Description:

The Red Carpet on WC awards night, presented as a B&W puzzle. The contest entrants' names are on the poster at the right. The rules are on the notice sign on the left. Just inside are the Producer (Jan) and the Director (Silvain) and the honorable judges. The anticipation is palpable. The excitement is uncontainable.

What an imagination you have!!! :)

Well, it started out with just a red carpet and a door. It takes me so long to make these, that it gave me time to think about what I'm creating. I'm not just making a new puzzle, I'm making a bit of fun to entertain y'all. I thought, how can I make this boring puzzle fun? Mission accomplished?

The illustration is extremely clear once it is explained, but I had no idea what I had solved until I read the caption. Great job on the perspective.

I think Teresa deserves the unanimous award for most outstanding creativity in the webpbn world, specifically for her "continued and limitless ingenious artistic imagination exquisitely displayed in tasteful pixelation" (how about that for a mouthful of title). I nominate her 100%, and I would really be interested to know if anyone can name someone more deserving of this honor.

^ I agree with Adam! I love ALL your puzzles, Teresa!
#6: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 19, 2009
Aw shucks. Thanks, Adam and Petra. There are others here who are equally creative and original, just not as obsessed as I am right now. As for awards, I'll accept an award, if it is made of chocolate! :-)
#7: Jane Doe (telly) on Apr 19, 2009
I agree with Adam and Petra. You are a supurb creator!
#8: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Apr 19, 2009
If you remove the word "equally" from your previous post, Teresa, then I will agree with what you wrote. Of course it can be made of chocolate, if you want it that way... after all, it is YOUR award!

Thanks, Telly. You are really creative yourself! I'm working your Nursery Rhyme series and love them.

Adam, I'll even accept leftover chocolate bunnies. :-)

that was awsome Teresa and I'm down with Adam you are the most crewative person here on webpbn. Many of my idea were left on the drawing board since I was not able to make a great puzzle out of it. You seem to be able to do anything in pixel form that amazing and worth acknowledging
#11: Meg Tayler (rebelcat) on Apr 20, 2009 [SPOILER]
I love the perspective! Somehow I can almost see all the decorations in red and gold. :-)
#12: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 20, 2009
Thanks, Silvain.

Meg - yes - lots of gold, and sparkle and glitter!
#13: Jota (jota) on Apr 20, 2009 [HINT]
I totally agree with what has been said here. You make stories, not only puzzles. Now I want to see what's behind the doors.
#14: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 20, 2009 [SPOILER]
Jota, that's YOU behind the doors! Along with Silvain and Deana. Now we know what Silvain and Deana look like, thanks to Naneki's wonderful portrait puzzles, but I don't think I have seen a portrait puzzle of you... yet. I have challenged people to do their own self-portrait, so how about it, Jota? We would all love to see what you look like!

Naneki has me "pending". If I were to draw myself I will probably look exactly like my "Mantis".

LOL

LOL is right!
