I agree. Did it say otherwise? I still haven't fixed the bug that can cause puzzles to be incorrectly marked as having multiple solutions if an earlier pre-publication version did.#3: Mark Conger (aruba) on Oct 28, 2006

On closer investigation, it wasn't because of the bug. "May have multiple solutions" is displayed if a majority of players said it did. "Has multiple solutions" is displayed if I made a final ruling saying it does, or if someone saves a valid alternate solution. Mark was the third person to solve this. One of the first two people said it had multiple solutions, and one said it had a unique solution. After Mark cast his vote, it was two to one against, so it was no longer marked as "possibly having multiple solutions". Then I ruled it unique and nobody gets asked any more.
In other words, it worked just the way it was designed to. The whole idea is that it is supposed to keep working pretty well even if I'm off on vacation someplace.
