Thanks Jota! But I doubt Adam will be thrilled. He isn't particularly happy with me these days, because of a Forum discussion I started.#5: Minnie Fuerstnau (m.fuerstnau) on Apr 21, 2009
FWIW, this is a very old, traditional folktale which I used to tell my children, back when I was homeschooling them. It was one of their favorites. The pastor at our church told us a version of it last Sunday, which got me thinking that it would make a good series.
I'm so happy to see another series by you! It gives me lots of pleasant time passed. Thank you; I'm looking forward to the next one.#6: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Apr 22, 2009
Jota was right, as always. :-)#7: Tonia Bergh (tonia) on Apr 24, 2009
Very nice! I don't usually like to do larger puzzles because of all the scrolling and eye strain... But I was intrigued by the title, and of course I knew the quality of your puzzles would make it well worthwhile - and it certainly was!! Now I've got to find time to solve the rest of the series because I'm curious! (But it's finals week...What a dilemma - study, or PBN???)#8: Meg Tayler (rebelcat) on Apr 24, 2009
Study... and then use PBN as a fifteen minute break every hour or so. That's what I do! My brain works better when I'm not focusing just on thing for a long time.#9: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Apr 28, 2009
Also, I've started using the arrow keys to move the clues from the top to the bottom of the puzzle a lot - or from side to side. It really saves on scrolling.
Good luck with your studies!
cool...my first puzzle to do since I came back...LOVED IT!#10: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 28, 2009
I was surprised when I printed it out, that I could still see the numbers, can't wait for the next one. thank you
It's good to see you back making comments, Nancy!#11: Arduinna (arduinna) on Jun 5, 2009
Meg, this puzzle was a joy to solve. It took me forever, but I enjoyed every pixel. I look forward the the rest. Thanks for entertaining us.
Great! Very cute!#12: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Feb 5, 2018
Breathtakingly beautiful detail. I found this randomly, but I want to solve the whole series now.#13: CB Paul (cbpaul) on Mar 28, 2021
As others have said, Beautiful! I look forward to the others in this series, and I'll be looking for your other series, too.
And somehow, after LOTS of these, I didn't know about the arrow key thing. Thanks!
