Puzzle Description:
Woman working with a bird of prey near a lake. I created this out of my head, without even knowing if there is such a person called the Bird Whisperer. What I discovered I explain in the first comment.

I found about three men who call themselves Bird Whisperer. When I searched for a Bird Whisperer that works with eagles, I found Kim Stroud of the Ojai Raptor Center in Ventura County, California. Kim runs the center and works with orphaned and injured birds of prey.#2: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 14, 2009 [SPOILER]
Here is a link to an interesting article and a few photos, in which she looks very much like the Bird Whisperer in my picture.

I did not know ANYTHING about her before creating this puzzle.
I just discovered this place is next to Lake Casitas:#3: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Apr 14, 2009 [SPOILER]

I feel as though I have been there. Very weird.
Nice concept and image. Fun to solve, too. If there are horse whisperers, why not bird whisperers too? :-)#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 14, 2009 [SPOILER]
Thanks, Adam. I figured there must be one somewhere, I just didn't know the real one would so closely match my puzzle image.#5: Shae (shaekin) on Apr 14, 2009 [SPOILER]
I was hoping the bird whisperer would be Snoopy but this is good too! :)#6: Mary Thomas (marleethom) on Apr 18, 2009 [SPOILER]
This one was fun to solve. At first I thought the trees were transformers and the woman some sort of power pole. After a lot of erasing :) I see the image. Think I'm getting addicted to eraser dust or to the sneeze it causes.#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 18, 2009
LOL! Thanks, Mary and Shae.#8: Meg Tayler (rebelcat) on May 3, 2009 [SPOILER]
How interesting! I watch the "Dog Whisperer" on TV all the time. I love the idea that there are Bird Whisperers, too!#9: Diana W (aeris) on Apr 25, 2010 [HINT] [SPOILER]

Shouldn't that be hoarse whisperers and brr'd shiverers?#13: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 9, 2018
Hahaha. Thanks for the chuckle, perlwolf!#14: derby (Derby) on Oct 10, 2018
