This puzzle should be changed or unpublished.#7: Cynthia Lynn McDaniel (mcaardva) on Oct 16, 2008
This is my first comment ever, and I'm not all that good at solving puzzles, but in defense of this 'artist' -- Letters and especially hearts have distinctive patterns that are recognizable in puzzles like this. Isn't that a form of logic?#8: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Oct 16, 2008
As for unpublishing puzzles YOU don't like...just don't do them. Some of us like everything we can get our hands on.
well said Cynthia :)#9: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 16, 2008
I was just making a point about how Jan usually unpublishes puzzles like this, with multiple solutions and massive guessing. I am surprised he hasn't done that to this puzzle.#10: Jan Wolter (jan) on Oct 17, 2008
I don't claim that my standards for unpublishing are enormously consistant, but usually I require that something be even more hopeless than this to unpublish. You can after all guess the answer pretty easily. The vast majority of people who tried solving the puzzle succeeded. Several gave it 3-star quality ratings. It's not a good puzzle, but it's not all that bad.#11: Scylla Kat (scyllacat) on Jun 6, 2009 [SPOILER]
