I love lily of the valley! I used to find them tucked away in the snow under the bushes in the early spring when I was a child - it always seemed very magical.

They do seem magical, don't they? We had these blooming next to the steps in front of the house I grew up in.

When I first started, it looked like a cotton plant, especially with the smaller buds. Those plants are also incredibly cool. I love your ladybug, I was very pleased that I recognized what it was without being told.:)

Gorgeous. Half a century ago on the day of my high school prom my dad gave me the almost unheard of sum of $10 to buy anything I wanted, and I spent the whole $10 on a vial of Diorissimo perfume - an ounce, 1/8 of an ounce? I don't remember - which has the scent of lily of the valley. It remains to this day my favourite flower scent and never fails to remind me of my dad. (That and lilacs, but that's a story for another day.) And I love the ladybug. Thank you.
